Wailuku is the seat of Maui County so the city hall and all
government offices are found in this charming old Hawaiian town.
The Iao Valley, just adjacent to Wailuku used to be a sacred burying
place for chiefs and the location of Maui's last giant battle for
supremacy. The famous pointed hill known as the Iao Needle was
