Waihee is located just 7 miles from Kahului on the North East Coast
of Maui. Vacation rentals in Waihee are limited to a few
condos, vacation homes and resort properties. For those who
enjoy an active vacation there are two popular hiking trails.
The Waihee Ridge Trail climbs the windward slope of West Maui, 2.5
miles to a peak overlooking a breathtaking view of Wailuku.
The Waihee Valley Trail is 2 miles each way and wanders along
a dirt road, then a trail through a forest which involves crossing
the stream via two swinging bridges. The hike ends up at
Ali'ele Falls, a delightful man modified waterfall.
