About St. John's River

The St. John's river, the longest river in Florida at 310 miles long, is one of the few rivers in the United States that flows north.  Fishing, boating and hunting dominate the activities on the St. John's River but hiking, backpacking, white water rafting, golfing and water sports on the surrounding lakes, are also very popular.  Vacation destinations along the St. John's river include Astor, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Destin and Amelia Island, to name a few.
