San Miguel de Allende Vacation Rental Villa - Authentic, Romantic 450 Year Old Hacienda

Our San Miguel de Allende Vacation Rental villa is a huge, old ex-hacienda located midway between San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, is situated outside Dolores Hidalgo in a small, safe, friendly village. Once a presidio, or fort, along the silver trail in 1567, it became a hacienda in the 1700's. Walls are meter- thick adobe. Beautiful, rustic elegance, furnished with colonial antiques and local artisan pieces, private, fully staffed, including cook, maids, and gardener.

Now offered as a vacation rental, the villa has luxurious bedding with high thread-count linens and feather beds, plus down duvets. There are nine beautiful bedrooms, six of which are south-facing suites, with beautiful views of the Sierra Madres, each with high-speed internet, sat. TV, fireplace, terrace, private bath. An additional suite with 2 or more bedrooms may be available upon request.

The hacienda (villa) is approximately 50 rooms, 40,000 sq. ft. under roof, with ten walled-in private acres. There is a pool heated with fifteen solar panels to assure year-round comfort. There is a full time staff of 12, a dozen horses for horse-back riding and mountain bikes for guest use (horses and bikes are complimentary), a full-circuit private gym, volleyball court, and soccer field. All meals are included in the rental price.

Shop for beautiful talavera pottery in Dolores Hidalgo, shop for EVERYTHING in San Miguel, while you enjoy gourmet restaurants, hot springs, and golf. Wander the charming streets and cobbled alleys of Guanajuato. Chauffeur available for reasonable fee, also very knowledgeable bilingual guide for trail rides (horse, car or mountain bike,) and seeing historic silver trail locations that most tourists NEVER see.
