The old plantation town of
Kilauea is located on Kauai's north shore, not far from Princeville
and Hanalei. For those who wish to experience Kauai's rugged

lighthouse is open daily and well worth a visit. Constructed
in 1913, the 52 foot lighthouse which has the largest lens of its

Kauapea Beach (Secret Beach), Kahili Beach, locally known as Quarry
Beach, Kalihiwai Beach, which offers good camping, and Anini Beach
Country Park offering top notch snorkeling and is among the best
place on the island for novice wind surfing.
A tour of the Na Aina Botanical Gardens is a must and if you like
shopping, visit the Kong Kung Centre where you will find a great
bakery, unique shops and a fish market.
