The Kauai Kai (Sea of Kauai) is a direct oceanside suite on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (700+ sf living area) one bedroom, one bath suite with plantation style lanai overlooking our tropical courtyard & the beautiful Pacific Ocean just 60 feet beyond.

The Kauai Kai features a complete, modern and open kitchen with a sealed top stove/range, microwave, side by side fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The dining area, located on your private covered lanai, has a table/seating for four. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The bedroom area is furnished with an elegant and tropical teak and bamboo bedroom set and a King size bed. The recently remodeled bath features a full size bathtub & pedestal sink. The suite has tropical ceiling fans although it is rarely needed as this suite enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.

Relax on the beach (just 60 feet away) or on your private covered lanai with dining table (seating for four). There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises over while soaking in a six man Jacuzzi® hot tub just steps away in the tropical courtyard below.

Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure.
Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu.

The Kauai Kai is located in Hale Koolau, a privately owned group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Sacred Falls, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
