Sleeping Accommodations:
There are two queen size sleeper sofas in the living room in addition to
a dining area with teak dining table and seating for six. The master
suite has wrap-around ocean views and is furnished with elegant and
tropical teak furniture with a queen size bed. The second bedroom also
has a queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an
elegant feel. The third bedroom is furnished with two twin size beds.
Four (4) hot tubs, Coin laundry,
Kayaks*, Snorkeling gear*, Boogie Boards*.
* Kayak paddle, Snorkeling Gear, and Boogie Board available for a
nominal daily fee of $25.00 per person. Equipment to be used on property
by you during your stay. Price is per person and includes (1) kayak
paddle, (1) complete high quality snorkel set and (1) high quality Morey
boogie board. Refunds are not given.
The Hale Makai is located in Hale Koolau, a privately owned group of
ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in
the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian
Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Sacred Falls, and many other wonderful Oahu
attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu
International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko’olau
Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes,
small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise
retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled
reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient
access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
