Our Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) vacation condo #307 is located on the third floor above the pool and there is a wonderful ocean view from both the bedroom as well as the living room. The condo has recently been renovated and is beautifully furnished.

Kauhale Makai is also one of the few resorts with high quality central air conditioning which is much more comfortable than the wall and window a/c used in most of Maui condos. Concrete block construction and this unit's location away from the road result in a very quiet and peaceful spot.

The Village by the Sea complex includes a Sparkling Tile Pool, Hot Tub, Children's wading Pool, Putting Green, Shuffle Board and Volleyball court. Also available for our guests is the use of the four public tennis courts located south of Kauhale Makai. There is nothing between the resort and the beach except for a large grassy area with a few tropical palm trees - no road to cross! Kauhale Makai is located right on the beach.

We also own another condo on the fifth floor of the Plumeria building so bring your friends and family.

Amenities Inside Condo

Fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Laundry room on every second floor in a six story building. Cable TV, VCR, phone, internet access, AC, linens, towels, ceiling fans in bedroom and living room.
Accommodations include one bedroom with queen-size bed, pullout couch, and additional (very comfortable) roll-a-way bed.

In Complex

Kidney shaped swimming pool, small wading pool for children, Jacuzzi, gas BBQs, picnic area, shuffle board, free parking.

Surrounding Area

Walk along the beach to Azeka Place for shopping and restaurants, or to the Pacific Whale Foundation's outpost for viewing whales in season (Mid December to mid May). Only ten miles to Kahului Airport. Central to most everything on the island of Maui including all the best beaches.
