Puako is a tranquil residential
neighborhood with an array of activities both close by and within easy
driving distance. The area abounds with excellent opportunities for
snorkeling, kayaking, diving, and beachcombing. Just feet from the front
door are ocean activities that should satisfy all swimming and interest
levels, from shallow, sandy tide pools to the depths of the reef, a
designated marine conservation area. Sun bathe on the small beach in
front of the house or, minutes away, are world class white sand beaches.
Hike the valleys in North Kohala, go horseback riding in Waimea ranch
country, shop in Kona, or visit the many historical sites along the
coastline. An assortment of dining possibilities are within easy access.
