#1 Kaimu Bay Big Island of Hawaii vacation home can be rented as either a two bedroom 1 bath or a three bedroom 2 bath. With 4 queen and a queen sofa sleeper we can easily accommodate ten individuals. Kaimu Bay has a black sand beach a short walk across the street and the 1990 lava flow. If lava is flowing, you can see steam where the flow enters the ocean.

A walk along the beach may include sightings of turtles, monk seals, or dolphin and humpback whale. The Hawaiian hawk, the I'o may visit Kaimu during your stay.

Our Kaimu Bay vacation home is both comfortable and quaint and has many unique touches such as the windows with rippled glass from a century ago, tile from the old Parker Ranch Dairy and the hand painted bathroom floor showing coral, rocks and Honu (turtles) swimming.

Amenities Inside

Full kitchen, washer/dryer, satellite TV, VCR, DVD, board games, all the comforts of home. The home has been remodeled with tile throughout, cherry cabinets and granite counter tops.

Outside

Hammock, outdoor rockwall shower, pineapple, coconut, papaya, bananas, ti, noni, hibiscus, Hawaiian chili pepper to spice up your salsa etc. etc.
* Your only neighbours, manage the property and can make suggestions about activities that will make your visit all you want it to be.

Surrounding Area

Close to: volcano, beaches, fishing, hiking, natural volcano heated sauna, zoo, restaurants etc.
* The area has many parks. Pahoa is a 10 min. drive and has several places to eat. If you feel like the movies, a museum or the Panaewa Rain Forest Zoo, Hilo the largest town is 35 min. away.
