Free use has been arranged for our guests of a Roman-themed indoor pool,
outdoor pool with stunning views, sauna, health and beauty centre in an
exclusive, restored medieval hilltop complex with excellent restaurant
and bar facilities just 15 minutes from Casa Castagna. There are a
further four excellent outdoor pools with various facilities, all within
20 minutes of the house. Other sports available locally are golf,
tennis, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting. The seaside at popular
Cesenatico is only 1 1/4 hours away whilst the wonderful Tyrennian coast
takes just a little longer to reach. Boating on nearby Lake Trasimeno is
always pleasant, as is bathing off its islands. The area also offers
boundless opportunities for walking, cycling and touring by motor car.
