Built in the 1850s, Beaconside House offers considerable character and charm, with unusual architecture, high cornice ceilings, large open fireplaces and original tiled floors. All three cottages are set in the grounds of Beaconside. Each boast their own private patio area with garden furniture and patio heaters, within a delightful walled garden which incorporates the outdoor heated pool. The warm and cosy interior of each cottage has been designed in a stylish and contemporary open plan manner. Each features flagstone floors, sumptuous leather sofas, atmospheric wood burning stoves, full central heating, surround sound TV/Video/DVD systems, well appointed modern kitchens. With heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and many other recreational features, Beaconside Country House Estate is a welcoming destination for all the family. |
Amenities Inside House and Cottages Cottages have fully fitted kitchen, surround sound TV/DVD/VCR, wood burning stove, full central heating, flagstone floors, sumptuous leather sofas. Main house has fireplaces, baby grand piano, dining room that seats up to 18 people, range style cooker (stove) with two gas ovens in kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, sky digital TV/DVD/Video and CD mini system. There are 8 bedrooms, all with views - 4 double bedrooms, all en-suite, 3 twin rooms (one en-suite) and a bunk bedroom. There are two other family bathrooms. On Grounds Indoor pool, outdoor pool, tennis, snooker, table tennis, fishing, private patio areas. Surrounding Area Close to beach (5 min drive) and countryside. Close to the historic town of Bideford.
