Our Vieques Island Villa Rental, Punta Martineau, is located inside the gates to the Martineau Bay Resort and Spa, which offers many amenities. The resort has a pool area and restaurant, a formal restaurant, tennis courts and a spa. The property is located on a small bluff above the sea, on the North coast of Vieques. As you enter the front door you immediately see through the living room to the pool with ocean. The view is extraordinary.

The master bedroom consists of the entire second floor, with a private terrace overlooking the sea and pool area. A steam room, walk in closet, double sinks, shower and toilet comprise the bath area. The master bed is king size. A big screen TV, DVD player, writing desk, chairs and corner cabinets look out onto the terrace and views of the sea. Each ground floor bedroom has a lovely little terrace in front with views to the pool and sea.

The small island airport with direct flights from San Juan or Fajardo is only a 15 minute ride away. 15 minutes the other way takes you into the only town of Vieques. Isabel Segunda, commonly called 'El Pueblo' smiles to the south. On the south coast of the island are the reserves of US Fish and Wildlife and Department of Natural Resources of Puerto Rico. Within these two reserves long dirt roads take you to some of the most untouched and beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise water.
