Welcome to Sago Cottage, a charming St. John Cottage rental nestled into the hillside above Coral Bay on St. John, US Virgin Islands. Though recently built, Sago Cottage is built in traditional West Indian structure - open and airy with brightly painted shutters and covered decks overlooking a gorgeous view. From its intimate and tasteful furnishings to its private hot tub under the stars, it is the perfect spot for a romantic holiday for two. The details and amenities are designed to give guests an experience of the West Indies of a bygone era. With the cool breezes and the captivating view you may never want to leave this idyllic hideaway.
The covered porches were designed and furnished with comfort in mind. They hold a small dining table, reading chairs and a porch swing to while away rare rainy afternoons. A coconut shell bird feeder attracts a delightful group of finches in the morning. The view to the south and east is of the eastern end of St. John, the neighboring British islands and the Caribbean Sea. This peaceful spot has unforgettable sun rises as well as moon rises.

Fully equipped kitchen, full size dining room, small but comfortable living room, bedroom with queen size four poster mahogany bed, hand made on St. John, VCR, CD, robes, safe for valuables, cooler, beach chairs, snorkel gear, phone, beach umbrella, fresh flowers.

Surrounding Area

Sago Cottage is located in a secluded hillside setting with a great deal of privacy and no nearby neighbours. Lovely white sand beaches, including Salt Pond Bay, are just a short drive as are national park hiking trails. There are several restaurants and shops within two miles. Kayaking, diving, and sailing can all be arranged from nearby Coral Bay. Cruz Bay, with its numerous shops and restaurants is 8 miles away. The airport is in St. Thomas, a twenty minute ferry ride (leaving every hour) across from Pillsbury Sound.
