Location: Sunshine/Matawan River (near Thunder Bay), Ontario, Canada

Accommodations: Open plan log cabin (sleeps 4 people)

Our Matawan River vacation cabin was built in 1999, and is set on 140 acres in the forests of Northwestern Ontario, near Thunder Bay.

It has an open plan with sleeping for 2-4 people, a bathroom with shower, dining area for four, living room with seating for six and a wood burning fireplace. All linens and towels will be provided.

Outside there are lots of lawns with a large fire pit. Sit on the deck overlooking the Matawan River and watch the wild life: Deer, Moose Canada Geese and River Otter. Walk on the trails and watch the bald eagles, marvel at the beaver dams and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Amenities Inside Matawan River Vacation Cabin

Kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, fridge, toaster, crockery etc., TV, VCR, books and games, BBQ, large deck overlooking the Matawan River.
* No cooking stove indoors. Outside gas BBQ only.

Outside

Lawns, large fire pit, 140 acres with trails for hiking, fishing, bird watching.

Surrounding Area

Close to golfing, beach, tennis, swimming, sailing, shopping, movie theaters, night clubs, casino.
* Located 25 miles west of Thunder Bay.

Rates (quoted in US currency)

May 1 - October 31 - $400 (US)per week
