peninsula; the road is privately owned. We have fine and quiet

from the excellent restaurants, museums and stores of the charming
village of Liverpool, home of the privateers.
* The beaches and villages of the south shore, including Lunenburg,
a UNESCO world heritage site, are just moments away. Here you will
find warm hospitality, unique shops (antiques, artisans,
handicrafts, farm markets, quilts and hand-hooked rugs, preserves,
quality "new to you" clothing), fishing wharves, restaurants (from
down-home to gourmet dining), historic churches and museums of
seaside villages such as Port Medway, Lockeport, Mahone Bay, Mill
Village.
* Halifax is a cosmopolitan center, with a wide array of
restaurants, museums, art galleries, shopping and is about a 1.5
hour drive away.
* Other activities include: Seaside and woodland hiking, sailing,
