A charming 2 bedroom beach cottage with a superb location on the water with almost 200ft. of sandy beach. The setting is very private and peaceful as the cottage is accessed by the walkway from above or by boat. The front deck is built over the water and leads onto the dock. A wonderful starting point to explore Okanagan Lake by kayak or canoe, cool off in the lake or sit on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the hummingbirds. There are 15 wineries located on the Naramata Bench just a short 10 to 15 minute drive from Indian Rock. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other bedroom has a double. There is a futon in the living room. One bathroom with full bath and shower, the other bathroom has vanity, toilet and washer/dryer. The cottage is suitable for 2 couples or a family with 2 children.
Indian Rock is the beautiful northern tip of Canada's desert country. The views of the sagebrush and ponderosa pine covered hills and Okanagan Lake are spectacular. It is a quiet lakefront community about 12 minutes drive from the village of Naramata.

Amenities Inside

Full kitchen with full size fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker, and bread machine. Living room has TV (no cable or satellite), DVD/VCR players and stereo. Queen bed, double bed and futon. All linens and towels provided. Washer/dryer and outside clothesline.

Surrounding Area

Located about 12 minutes drive from the village of Naramata.
In the Village of Naramata the General Store is the place for staples, postal services, rental videos and DVDs and local information.
There are many artisans, a clothing boutique, Spa, neighbourhood Pub, Chinese restaurant, Pizza takeout and a Museum. Manitou Park is the venue for many local festivals such as May Day on Victoria Day weekend and the August Faire held on the first Sunday in August.
The city of Penticton is a 30 minute drive from the beach house along a scenic meandering route past wineries and orchards. Penticton hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the Ironman competition. There are many wineries, golf courses, fine restaurants and nightclubs in the area.
